Robert C Kelly Limited has almost 25 years experience of producing, including various plays, musicals, concerts and 11 pantomimes.

 

The company has presented artistes as diverse as Gary Wilmot, Elaine Paige, Jane McDonald, Joe Longthorne, Elkie Brookes, Danny la Rue, Bobby Davro, Lena Martell, Dean Park, Andy Stewart, Keith Harris and Orville, The Grumbleweeds, The Nolans and Elaine C Smith. Its shows have starred actors such as Adele King, Simon Delaney, Mark Little, Beverley Callard, Sarah White, Blythe Duff, Patsy Palmer, Imogen Stubbs, Cathy Tyson, Jenny Eclair, Kim Hartman, Julie T Wallace and has given acting “breaks” to singers including Carol Decker (T’pau), Maureen Nolan (The Nolans) and Lorraine McIntosh (Deacon Blue).

 

Robert C Kelly Limited has produced and co-produced many plays and musicals including the sell-out Menopause The Musical, Olivier Award Winning Defending the Caveman, Pam Gem’s Piaf, six productions (including a West End run) of the comedy Mum’s The Word, Mum’s the word 2 – Teenagers, Prunella Scales in Too Far To Walk (London), the musical comedy Always…Patsy Cline (UK and Australia) as well as The Chic Murray Story and Paras Over The Barras.

 

2007 was a successful year with the company producing the first Dublin season and national tour of Dirty Dusting, the Irish Premiere of the Broadway hit, Defending the Caveman and the smash-hit comedy Menopause the Musical. Repeat tours included Bernie Nolan and Michelle Gayle in Mum's The Word, as well as Mark Little in a production of Defending The Caveman, playing 50 dates in the UK, touring Dubai and returning to the West End.

 

The company has also recently produced some brand new shows including the sensational concerts, The Piano Men and The Music of Dirty Dancing.

2008 looks to be another exciting year with Robert C Kelly securing the worldwide rights to Blues Brothers, The Revival. There will be a continuation of the tours; Defending the Caveman (UK Tour), The Music of Dirty Dancing, a new run of the hilarious comedy Mum’s The Word and a production of the romantic comedy Sexy Laundry in Los Angeles! Menopause The Musical will also tour Ireland following its unrivalled success in Dublin.
