Claire Tully
Although well known for her work as a pin up model, it is her stunning intellect that makes Claire so famously unparalleled by other models. Claire Tully is truly a thinking man's crumpet.
Although naturally gifted in many subjects, it was Science that always had a special place in her heart. Unsurprisingly she went on to study Biochemistry and Immunology in Dublin's premier university, Trinity College, where she graduated in 2007 with a first class honours degree.
With qualifications in hand and not one to give up easily, the Irish beauty decided to pursue her modelling career setting herself the challenge of changing stereotypical attitudes towards glamour modelling in her homeland and making it her priority to raise awareness about breast cancer - a subject very close to her heart.
Following her success in the FHM competition, ‘100 High Street Honeys’, Claire was approached by The Irish Sun to become Ireland's first ever home-grown Page 3 Girl. Her first topless shoot appeared in the newspaper on 26th March 2008, propelling her to the spotlight. In the space of a few months Claire went from being a normal girl next door to appearing in newspapers and magazines all over Ireland and the UK including Zoo Weekly, LIFE magazine, Modified Motors, The Sunday Times magazine, and The Sun. She is the first ever Irish model to produce her own Calendar - an achievement she credits to the great skill of fellow Page 3 model turned photographer Zoe McConnell.
Not limited to the pages of a magazine Claire is as comfortable in front of a TV camera and has successfully appeared on television in the UK and Ireland.
While Claire's stunning physical beauty continues to bring her valuable contract work it is her intellect and outspoken opinions which are garnering the most attention now. She is an active campaigner for Breast Cancer Awareness and uses her high profile in Ireland to raise awareness of breast cancer detection and treatment. While still a firm favourite on Page 3 in The Irish Sun she now also composes a full page weekly column appearing every Monday in the print edition of the paper and online at www.Page3.com.
